My 1981 Ford Thunderbird Heritage

This is the page about my 1981 Ford Thunderbird. Its a Gold mettallic car and the car is based on the "Fox" platform  The car was originally delivered with a 255 cid (4.2 liters) V8  and AOD ( automatic overdrive) tranny. This is now removed, and today it has a 302 and a C4 tranny. The engine is rebuilt, and have been upgraded with a new Edelbrock performer plus camshaft, Edelbrock 289 intake, and a Carter 600 carburetor. The engine had originally 131 hp, but app. guess is now 200 hp. next step is to insert headers and megasquirt fuel injection.

This is a "Town Landau" car and is a bit more pricey than the base model. its a wery nice car to drive.
